Bryan Beals

Photo of Bryan BealsDr. Beals is originally from Watonga, Oklahoma. He eventually moved further up the Great Plains to complete his medical school training at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks before moving south again to start in our residency program. He has been married for over a year now and his wife is a resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. They do not have any children yet. Dr. Beals spends his free time playing golf and video games. When he completes his residency training, he plans to have a practice in general adult psychiatry.

 

Namita Dhiman

Photo of Namita DhimanDr. Dhiman was born and raised in Northern India. She is from a small town called Shimla, also known as the “Queen of Hills,” because it is located in the north-western ranges of the Himalayas. She graduated from Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla. Her fields of interest in psychiatry include emergency psychiatry and military psychiatry, as well as research in psychopharmacology. She is a national champion in table tennis, loves talking with her family each day and she is passionate about music and dance.

Saurabh Jauhari

Photo of Saurabh JauhariDr. Jauhari completed his medical training at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial (GSVM) Medical College in India. Subsequently, he completed a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Creighton University in Omaha. He did an externship in an Orthopedic/Urgent Care clinic prior to starting in our residency program. Dr. Jauhari is a traveler at heart and exploring new places is one of the activities that he relishes. He enjoys meeting new people and building lifetime relationships. He is passionate about good music. He would like to pursue Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and eventually set up his own private practice.

Irina Samuels

Photo of Irina SamuelsDr. Samuels graduated from Kishinev Medical University in Moldova. Prior to starting in our residency program, she worked in at the Park Plaza clinic and completed an externship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Omaha. She also spent a year working at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Clinical Brain Disorders branch where she participated in investigating the neuropathology of schizophrenia. Her professional interests are psychiatric neuroscience and therapeutics of major psychiatric illness, especially schizophrenia. She likes to visit exhibitions at Joslyn Art Museum and concerts at the Orpheum Theater with her husband, Luis. Her other interests include ballroom dancing, volleyball, and spending time with her family.
