Dr. Bansal grew up in North Dakota. She graduated the American University of Antigua School of Medicine in 2013. On her free time, she enjoys running, outdoor activities, and baking.
Dr. Cervantes was born and raised in Arizona, and graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Go Sun Devils!). After working 13 years as an Internet Product Developer, he decided to change careers and use his talents wisely. He graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine and is excited to complete his Psychiatric residency in his new hometown of Omaha (Go Jays!). He is a devoted husband and father of 3, plays trumpet in church choir, is building a garden for his wife, and is renovating an old VW.
Dr. Faust is originally from Petersburg, NE. She received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State College in 2009 in chemistry/health sciences with a minor in psychology. She graduated from UNMC College of Medicine in 2013 and was a member of the Rural Health Opportunities Program. She married her high school sweetheart just before entering residency. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her two puppies, a black lab and a pug, and she likes to counted cross stitch. She is going to pursue fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and would like to practice in rural Nebraska after completing her training.
Dr. McNew was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate education at Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Biology. She received her medical training at the American University of the Carribean in St. Maarten and did her clinical rotations in Lousiana, California, and New York. She has lived all over the country and she's excited to finally settle in lovely Omaha. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking, camping, and the beach!
Dr. Pesavento graduated from Creighton Prep in 2003, Creighton University in 2007, and received his Masters Degree in Clinical Anatomy in 2009. He then graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in 2013. He is interested in Consultation Liaison and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. he is engaged to Erica Goven, a local attorney, and they are getting married in San Francisco in February. He spends most of his free time playing golf, but also loves basketball, especially the Creighton Bluejays and Phoenix Suns.
Dr. Pulluri was born and raised in a small town in southern India. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad in 2004. Following her medical school, she met her husband who inspired her to enter the field of Psychiatry. She completed 3 years of psychiatry residency in England before moving to Omaha. She has a 4 year old son and expecting another. She is trained in Indian classical dance and loves watching psychological thrillers and documentaries on history. She enjoys socializing and cooking authentic Indian food.
Dr. Rainville was raised in Spokane, WA and graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Biology and Global Politics. He attended Creighton University School of Medicine for his medical training. He enjoys biking, playing soccer, hiking, and camping. He also fosters golden retrievers for the Golden Retriever Rescue In Nebraska (GRRIN) organization. He is undecided about pursuing a subspecialty but loves general psychiatry.
Dr. Reich left his hometown of Duluth, MN to pursue one of his many passions, snowboarding, in the Colorado mountains, where he studied Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also enjoys hiking and spending time with his dog Wrigley. After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2013, he moved to Omaha to begin Psychiatry residency. He has an interest in Addiction Psychiatry with a special interest in rehabilitating impaired physicians with drug and alcohol dependence.
Dr. Thompson graduated from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. Her hobbies and interests include spending time with family, golf, frolf, bowling, snowboarding, yard games, and musical theater.
Dr. Chien-Shien "Rick" Yang was born in Taiwan and came to the US in 2003 to learn English and American culture. He made some friends and decided to stay for further education, and attended Union College in Lincoln, NE where he received a degree in Biology. He graduated from UNMC College of Medicine in 2013, and is interested in Child & Adolescent or Addiction Psychiatry. Outside of medicine, he is an avid event and travel photographer.
