Nursing Faculty - Omaha Campus
Creighton University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, invites applications for full-time, tenure track faculty positions in the College of Nursing for August 2013.
Tenure track positions are available in the areas of medical-surgical, maternal-child, public health/global health, and community health nursing.
Candidates must possess at least a master's degree in nursing and 3 years of clinical nursing experience. An earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom instruction and clinical supervision.
Faculty responsibilities will include classroom instruction, clinical teaching/supervision of students, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship.
Current unencumbered licensure as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure, is necessary. National certification by AACN and licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in an appropriate nurse practitioner field is required if applicable.

Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
