Nurse Traineeships are available to students who are fully accepted (no outstanding prerequisites, missing documentation or continuing probationary status) and who agree to enroll full time in two consecutive semesters (typically Fall and Spring). This is a DHHS - USPHS grant to support costs of tuition, books and/or a small stipend. There is no work or payback required - the goal is to increase full time graduate nursing enrollment and graduations. To indicate your interest in traineeships: contact Jan Schnack (HS 218), phone 402-280-3107 or email jschnack@creighton.edu, with the following information before May 1: Your name, address and email address, and your plan of full time study for the upcoming Fall and Spring terms - or Spring and Summer terms with permission. Indicate your major (e.g. adult, family, community ...) and role option (NP, CNS, Educator) and your faculty advisor. Complete a Financial Aid Form and send it to the Office of Student Financial Aid before July.
