Candidates must possess at least a Master’s degree in nursing and 2 years clinical experience. A doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred. Position available for 9 months. Creighton University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, invites applications for qualified faculty candidates to teach in our Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track in our Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master’s degree programs.  The available tenure track position is for a full-time acute care adult nurse practitioner position in the School of Nursing.   

Candidates must possess at least a master’s degree in nursing and be certified by ACCN as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. An earned doctorate, or enrollment in a doctoral program, and 2 years of experience are preferred.  The candidate will need to remain active in clinical practice.  

Current licensure as an APRN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure is necessary. 

Faculty responsibilities will include both classroom and clinical teaching/supervision of students, participating in curriculum development, facilitating development of clinical sites for preceptor experiences, as well as academic and scholarly project advising.
