Clinical Systems Administration Track
Program Overview
The Clinical Systems Administration program is designed to prepare nurses at the graduate level for a career in clinical systems administration. Graduates of this program are prepared to function at executive levels as innovative, collaborative leaders within changing health care environments as well as executive leaders in corporations and consulting firms. Students will learn to create and maintain an effective and efficient environment for the delivery of health care services in a variety of health care settings across the continuum. This program will prepare you to utilize and translate evidence into practice that contributes to improving the delivery of quality health care services and achieving expected health system outcomes.
This program draws upon the collective expertise of faculty from Creighton School of Nursing and leading faculty across the University from the College of Business Administration and the Werner Institute (School of Law). The curriculum provides nurses an opportunity to advance their professional career in a very unique, individualized way.
Program Format
BSN-DNP program- Student are required to complete 1125 hours of supervised clinical practice which includes a 300 hour residency. The 70 hour doctoral program can be completed in 3 years of full-time study or may be pursued part-time.

MS-DNP program- Options are available for nurses seeking to pursue additional certifications, as well as options for those nurses seeking to obtain the highest level of nursing practice (DNP). Your advisor will work with you one on one to determine the length of program.

Admission Requirements
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. As soon as an application is complete, it will be forwarded on to members of the Graduate Admissions and Promotions Committee and will reviewed at the next scheduled committee meeting. An admission decision will be made and applicants will be notified promptly.
