On your Registration Day
Have your Faculty Preceptor-approved schedule ready (and alternate courses in case any of your desired courses are closed).
Know your NetID, and your password that goes along with your NetID (maybe login to CUmail sometime that day to test your NetID and password, so you are sure the ones you have are correct and working). Your NetID and password will allow you to login to the NEST.
Know your registration time and your PIN. Once you are logged in to the NEST, your registration PIN will allow you to get into the Add/Drop Classes area to actually register for courses. (Keep in mind the computer systems run on Central Daylight Time [CDT]).
Registering for courses is important but not so important that your entire academic career is hanging on whether you get into a certain section of a certain course.
If you have trouble getting into NEST, call the DoIT Student Help Desk at (402) 280-1111, option 2.
If you have any questions or experience any difficulty in registering, please contact the Registrar's Office (402) 280-4019.
If you have trouble finding open courses that fit in your schedule, consider moving the following courses to the first semester: ENG 120, ENG 121, PHL 107 & THL 100.
Try to get a complete schedule today, even if the courses or sections are not your most desired ones. You can make adjustments during Summer Preview or on your own any other time.
