University Planning: A Message from Fr. Lannon

Dear Members of the Creighton Community,

There is no place like Creighton.

Creighton University is unique; blessed with bright, motivated students, a full complement of undergraduate, graduate and professional schools and a Jesuit, Catholic difference that gives great meaning to our mission.

Creighton does not exist in a vacuum. In the Catholic, Jesuit tradition, it constantly interacts with the world around it and continually strives to adapt, to prepare graduates to meet the challenges of the time.

To chart a clear course in a changing world, and to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us by students, alumni and partners, a strategic planning process is under way. A strategic plan will give us a road map. It will help us refine our programs and focus our efforts, to ensure that we are preparing graduates well for personal and professional lives of leadership and service; both now and in the future.

I encourage you to visit this site often for the latest information on University planning. I invite your input, feedback and suggestions as we work together to determine where Creighton University is headed in the next decade.

Timothy R. Lannon, S.J.
