Online Course Review
COOL is now handling all online course review requests. If you need an online course reviewed, please submit the form above. Tracy Chapman and Jami Monico will coordinate the process and work with faculty to ensure a smooth process.
Team charge: In response to the increased interest in developing distance education courses and programs, Patrick J. Borchers, Vice President for Academic Affairs, formed the Academic Affairs Distance Education Committee. To distinguish this Committee from the Online Learning Advisory Board and to more clearly reflect the role of the committee the Academic Affairs Distance Education Committee has been renamed to the Online Course Review Team (OCRT). The OCRT is charged with:
- Reviewing the design of all courses with a substantial distance component (70% or more online)
- Offering advice on designing courses
- Designing check lists and other aids for guiding faculty and others through the approval process
