Postgraduate pharmacy training programs with yearly residency and fellowship positions are available at the Center for Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice at Creighton University and the Bergan Mercy and University Campuses of CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center.

Creighton also offers an accredited community pharmacy residency program affiliated with our outpatient pharmacy.

Community Practice Residency

A partnership between Creighton University and the Creighton University Campus Pharmacy enhances residents’ educational experience in a variety of settings that focus on patient care and practice management.

Creighton University has a teaching and research affiliation with Bergan Mercy, a level I trauma, academic medical center. Residents gain a variety of clinical experience and develop a practitioner’s expertise in the provision of pharmaceutical care.

Immanuel Medical Center, a full-service hospital, provides residents organized and directed pharmacy training in a community hospital setting to develop professional expertise as a practitioner.

The Drug Information Residency provides residents the flexibility to pursue individual interest areas and gain exposure to many practice settings through the Center for Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice at Creighton University.

The Center for Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice at Creighton University offers a dynamic two-year research fellowship program in three core experiences: research, drug information clinical practice, and teaching.

Natural Medicines Research Fellowship

Creighton's Center for Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice offers a two-year program for fellows to gain experience in the area of research synthesis including systematic review and meta-analysis. Additional opportunities are available in the areas of survey design, educational research, medication policy, grant writing, and others.
