Public Relations  >  Marketing and Communications

The Marketing and Communications Division is responsible for the University's brand image; internal and external communications; local, regional and national media relations; publications and communication management; community relations, advertising; direct mail; crisis communications and special events management.

All efforts of these units support the University's mission, with special emphasis on Creighton's strategic priorities. The division works similar to an agency providing support to the University's school and colleges, key departments and functions.

The division is responsible for communicating with the University's key constituencies, strengthening those relationships, and raising the funds to support the University's strategic objectives.

The assistant vice president for Marketing and Communications is the chair of the University Public Honors and Events Committee and the University's Marketing Communications Task Force.
