College Students Become Male Mentors For Kellom Kids

They said they want to be role models for all students, but will focus their attention on fifth- and sixth-graders who don't have fathers at home -- more than half of the student body. Fraternity members include Jamal Jackson, who is working toward both a law degree and a master's degree in business administration at Creighton, and Justin Wayne, a member of the Learning Community Coordinating Council who is a lawyer for Union Pacific Railroad

One can only imagine the pain Dr. Adam Smith's widow is going thru. First losing her husband and now trying to care for three small children. Smith was killed in a crash August 11 in La Vista. Two of her sons were also injured. Dr. Smith, was a radiology resident at Omaha's Creighton University Medical Center.
