Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Careers in Nursing Program Awards Grants to 55 Schools of Nursing to Provide Scholarships for Students in Accelerated Degree Programs

During the 2012-2013 academic year, the schools will receive grants to support students in their accelerated baccalaureate and master's degree nursing programs, who are traditionally underrepresented in the field of nursing and are pursuing a second career in nursing. Gibson to be honored at Werner

The Bob Gibson Heritage Project unveiled a model statue Tuesday morning at Werner Park and an 8-foot statue of the Omaha native will be placed in the front entrance of Werner in April of 2013. The model and statue is the work of Creighton University Associate Professor and sculptor Littleton Alston.
