Dental chain has arrived

A rapidly growing dentistry chain based in Syracuse, N.Y., is coming to Nebraska, reflecting a trend of national companies penetrating markets typically served by locally owned solo or group practices. Aspen Dental plans to open its first Omaha location Thursday at the southeast corner of 70th and Dodge Streets next to Fuddruckers restaurant. The lead dentist at the Omaha practice is Peter Straub, a graduate of the Creighton University Boyne School of Dental Science, Frank said.
