Ted Kooser, U.S. Poet Laureate, Does Reading At Creighton

Ted Kooser, thirteenth Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry, will read from a selection of his works on April 12 at 3:30 p.m. at Creighton University’s Rigge Science Auditorium, Room 120.

The reading, sponsored by the Creighton World Literature Program, is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book signing, where Kooser will chat with the audience and answer questions.

Kooser, an author of 10 collections of poetry, received the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry for his works entitled, “Delights and Shadows.” Born in Ames, Iowa, he is a visiting professor in the English department of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds numerous other awards and poetry prizes.
