A Rabbinic Reading of Justice and Redemption in the City Topic of Lecture

"Imitating God and not Pharoah: A Rabbinic Reading of Justice and Redemption in the City," a lecture by Aryeh Cohen, Ph.D., is scheduled for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, in room 105 of Creighton University’s Skutt Student Center.

Cohen, associate professor of Rabbinic Literature at the University of Judaism, is an expert on the Talmud and will address social justice in the Jewish tradition.

This event is free and open to the public.

The lecture is sponsored by the Kripke Center for the Study of Religion & Society.
