Archbishop from Vatican to Give Public Lecture at Creighton
Archbishop John Michael Miller, a prominent figure in Catholic education and the Vaticanís administrator for Roman Catholic universities, will give a public lecture at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, in the V.J. and Angela Skutt Student Center Ballroom.
Titled "Jesuit Higher Education in the United States at the Service of the Church in the Third Millennium," the lecture is free and open to the public.
Prior to joining the Vatican, Archbishop Miller was the president of the University of St. Thomas in Houston from 1997-2003. He has been a member of the Basilian Fathers since 1965.
