JayWalk Benefits Jesuit Middle School

About 750 people participated in the fourth annual JayWalk on Saturday, Sept. 23. Sponsored by Creighton Students Union and Creighton Preparatory School and held in conjunction with the University’s Family Weekend, this year’s JayWalk raised $10,000 for the Jesuit Middle School.

The Jesuit Middle School of Omaha offers the young males of Omaha, particularly African Americans, a quality educational opportunity, encouraging them to claim ownership of their lives and develop themselves as responsible leaders.

Creighton Preparatory School is a private Jesuit high school with more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. The school shares its founding with the University.

Creighton Students Union is the University’s student government, organized for public and charitable purposes. It represents all of Creighton’s schools and colleges and their students, while it supports student organizations and organizes student activities.
