Creighton to Host Free Event on Osteoporosis Awareness

The Creighton University Osteoporosis Research Center will hold a free "Prevent Fractures Seminar," 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on May 5, at Creighton University Medical Center's Becic Dining Room, 601 N. 30th Street.

The event is being held in conjunction with National Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention Month. Attendees will learn about bone disease, osteoporosis medications, exercise programs, nutrition and more. They will also receive certificates for free bone density scans (value: $50) at a future date.
