Move-In Marks the Beginning of the School Year at Creighton University

Freshman Class Profile One of the Strongest

On Saturday, Aug. 18, life at Creighton University begins for the class of 2007 as they move into their new home for the school year. The Freshman Move-In runs from 8 a.m. to- 2 p.m. at 24th and California streets

In past five years, Creighton University has enrolled its strongest academic classes ever, and this year’s freshman class of 955 students is no exception. Heavily involved in service and leadership roles in high school, the new freshman class has an academic profile that places it above all but four other private universities in the Midwest that have enrollments of at least 3,000 undergraduates

Creighton University selection process takes into account applicants’ leadership and service abilities, interests and most importantly, academic performance. The University also places a strong weight on students’ demonstrated intellect and academic and professional goals when choosing members of the freshman class.
