Creighton to Hold 15th Annual Colon/Rectal Diseases Conference

Creighton University will hold its 15th annual conference on “The Management of Colon and Rectal Diseases by Primary Care Physicians and their Support Staff” on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Omaha Marriott Hotel, 10220 Regency Circle.

The conference is designed to update participants on recent advances in the management of lower gastrointestinal diseases that are commonly seen in primary care practice. Subjects to be covered include simple and common anal complaints, complex common anorectal diseases, newly diagnosed rectal mass, and common colonic diseases, and colorectal cancer screening.

The cost for registrations received by Feb. 9 is $115 for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and pharmacists; $55 for nurses and support staff; and $35 for medical residents and students in the health sciences.

Creighton University’s School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and Continuing Medical Education Division are co-sponsors.
