Creighton to Host NCAA Viewing Party

Creighton to Host Viewing Parties

Wear your blue on Friday, March 16, when Creighton University will host multiple viewing parties on campus and around Omaha, allowing Jays fans to cheer on the Creighton menís basketball team as they take on Nevada in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

The Skutt Student Center will house the main viewing party in front of the fireplace. There will be a large screen and seven other TVís in the building. Fans will be able to enjoy free cookies and pop, along with blue cotton candy, blue popcorn and blue smoothies. Bluejay bandannas and a variety of Jays paraphernalia will also be available. Also on campus the Creighton University School of Law will have a big screen TV set up in room 124.

Around Omaha Jays fans will have the option to attend four different viewing parties sponsored by Creightonís Alumni Relations office. Locations include, Barrettís Barleycorn Pub & Grill, 4330 Leavenworth St.; DJís Dugout, 636 N. 114th St.; Ice House 10920 Emmet St.; and Pauliís, 4016 Leavenworth St.
