Gail Jensen Receives Honorary Degree

Gail Jensen, Ph.D., Creighton University Graduate School dean, associate vice president for faculty development, and professor of physical therapy, has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa.

The degree, presented during the university’s March 10 spring commencement, is awarded to candidates for their contributions to health care and education.

Jensen is well known as a physical therapy educator and qualitative researcher. She is co-investigator for a federally funded interdisciplinary education grant, “Circles of Learning: Community and Clinic as Interdisciplinary Classroom.”
