Creighton Paramedic Program Director Honored by National EMS Group

Mike Miller, paramedic program director at Creighton University, was one of 11 individuals recognized recently at an annual meeting of the National Association of EMS Educators in Hollywood, Calif.

He received the organization’s HEROES award in recognition of his contributions to the field of emergency medical services (EMS) education. To be considered for the award, recipients must be nominated by a selection committee and receive comments or letters of support from former students as well as individuals involved in the nomination process.

Miller, who earned a bachelor of science degree in emergency medical services from Creighton University, joined Creighton’s EMS faculty in 2002.
