Increased use of wireless technologies has given rise to challenges involving mobile-business models and information security.
To help information technology and business managers successfully deal with these challenges and achieve business success, the Joe Ricketts Center at Creighton University will hold the ninth annual conference on “Information Technology in the Workplace” (ITW) on Oct. 25 at the Marriot Hotel Omaha, 10220 Regency Circle.

He was president and chief executive officer of Oractive, a market leader in collaborative mobile telephony software.
Keynote speaker Margaret Franco, director of product marketing for Dell Inc.’s Latitude line, will headline the afternoon session, 1:45-2:45 p.m., speaking on “Mobile Device Trends and Impacts on Manageability.” Franco has worked in the technology industry for almost 12 years, with the majority of her career spent at Compaq/HP.
