Creighton Nursing School Hosts a Nursing Profession Day
“Nursing: The Opportunities Will Surprise You” is the theme for a Sept. 27 Nursing Profession Day hosted by Creighton University School of Nursing. High school counselors and high school students interested in pursuing four-year nursing degrees are invited to participate.
The 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. event will include panel discussions with practicing professionals on nursing career paths and Creighton nursing students on university life. Associate Dean Linda Lazure will speak on “Nursing: Have You Got What it Takes?”
Participants will also tour Creighton University Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Osteoporosis Center, Cardiac Center and the Emergency Room/LifeNet.
