Alumni, Families Participate in Annual Events
Hundreds of alumni, their families and families of Creighton students will visit campus the weekend of Sept. 21-22 as part of the Undergraduate and Graduate School Reunion Weekend and Family Weekend.
Schools and colleges’ receptions and gatherings, soccer games, barbecues, guided campus tours and tours of Omaha, an outdoor concert, Jaywalk and a special mass at the recently renovated St. John’s Church are just some of the festivities.
According to Diane Dougherty Crowley, BA’ 82, assistant vice president for Alumni Relations, “Destination Creighton,” the reunion weekend, is a time for alumni to network, share memories, see the exciting changes that have taken place on campus, and reconnect with the University and each other.
“It is jam-packed with fun, information, social gatherings and opportunities to reinforce the bonds you have made with Creighton,” she said.
A Golden Jays Class Party for the class of 1957 is planned for Friday evening on campus. The classes of 1967, 1982, 1987 and 1997 class reunions are scheduled for Saturday evening at the Qwest Center.
