Creighton’s St. Albert’s Day Celebrates Research
Creighton University will host its annual St. Albert’s Day on Wednesday, April 2 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Skutt Student Center. The event features student posters or 15-minute presentations that highlight graduate and undergraduate research projects.
Research topics range from analysis of vortex characteristics within a tornadic convective system, to screening and treatment of postpartum depression to service and learning in the Dominican Republic and much more.
The scholastic presentation is named in honor of St. Albert Magnus, a scientist, philosopher and theologian whose life and writings emphasized the importance of experiment and investigation.
The event is free and open to the public.
