Holiday Lighting Ceremony Dec. 2

Creighton to Welcome the Holiday Season

Creighton University will officially welcome the holiday season at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, with the 23rd annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony on the mall in front of St. Johnís Church.

Hot chocolate and cookies will be available prior to the ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

Creighton University President the Rev. John P. Schlegel, S.J., will flip the switch on the lights following a brief blessing and scripture reading.

At 5:30 p.m., free trolley rides to the Old Market will be available for viewing of the Gene Leahy Mall Christmas lights.

The event is sponsored by Inter-Residence Hall Government.
