Area Youth Attend Skills Camps at Creighton

While the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers battle for the National Basketball Association Championship, future NBA hopefuls learn the skills of the trade during one of Creighton Basketball Coach Dana Altman’s 2008 Creighton University Basketball camps.

Hundreds of area youth – both boys and girls - are expected to participate this summer in University-sponsored skills camps. Camp categories range from “little Jays” (1st to 5th grade) to high school, and are offered in basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball and soccer.

Creighton coaching staff and many student athletes help conduct the camps.
