Creighton Honors Scholastic Achievement

Creighton University will honor superior scholastic student achievers (4.0 grade point average) for the 2007 spring and fall semesters during a recognition luncheon on Saturday, March 29, at noon in Creighton’s Skutt Student Center.

More than 100 students from the University’s undergraduate (featuring 50 majors) as well as seven professional schools (graduate, medicine, dentistry, law, pharmacy, physical therapy and occupational therapy) will be honored.

The featured speaker at the invitation-only event will be Isabelle Cherney, Ph. D., associate professor of psychology and Nebraska’s 2007 Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation.

Receiving the Master of Scholarly Resources Award, honoring the student whose paper best exemplifies outstanding research, is Dan Runco, a senior in Arts and Sciences.
