Creighton Speech and Debate Team Achieves Success
Creighton University’s speech and debate team received second overall in the Team Sweepstakes at the Nov. 15 Doane College “Nut” Tournament and third place in the University of Nebraska “Go Nuts” Tournament on Nov. 16. The Team Sweepstakes honor is based on overall result totals for each university team in the following categories---dramatic interpretation, extemporaneous, impromptu, informative and persuasive speaking, rhetorical criticism, as well as debate.
The following students won honors at these two recent tournaments:
