CUAlert Testing on Nov. 6.

Creighton University will test its campus emergency notification system, CUAlert, on Thursday, Nov. 6 at noon. Testing of the system is a critical component of the University’s crisis planning. Keeping students, faculty and staff well-informed when there is an emergency or crisis is a University priority.

CUAlert uses multiple channels to deliver emergency notifications to the Creighton community. This system will also be used to notify you of weather-related University closings. The system uses multiple ways to reach key audiences. (ie., e-mail, phone, cell phone, work phone, home phone, text messaging, etc.)

“The system is only as good as the data it holds, “said Bryan McLaughlin, Information Security Officer.

Creighton community members have been notified of the test and reminded to make sure their contact information is correct.

Creighton University is a Jesuit, Catholic university bridging health, law, business and the arts and sciences for a more just world.
