Creighton Dance Company Will Perform La Fille mal gardée
The Creighton University Dance Company will perform the ballet, La Fille mal gardée (The Unchaperoned Daughter) Nov. 13-16 on the Mainstage of the Lied Education Center for the Arts, on the corner of 24th and Cass streets on the Creighton campus.
The ballet is set in the English countryside where a young girl manages to win the hand of the man she loves despite her mother’s plans to marry her off to the village’s dim-witted son whose father is a wealthy vineyard owner.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13-15 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students, faculty and staff.
