Creighton Employees Go Pink

More than 80 Creighton University employees, representing Creighton Medical Associates, University Relations and the Comptrollerís Office, formed a pink, human ribbon on Oct.2 in Morrison Stadium.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Participants wanted to help raise awareness about the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. Employees paid $5 each to wear jeans and pink shirts with proceeds going to the fight against this devastating disease, which strikes men also.

Creighton University is a Jesuit, Catholic university bridging health, law, business and the arts and sciences for a more just world.
