Creighton University celebrated the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in St. John’s Church.

Almost 1,000 people attended the service, which is a tradition among Jesuit academic institutions dating to 1548, in which the community gathers to thank God for one another and to ask for the guidance and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit in the coming year.
