Creighton Medical School Announces 2009-10 Distinguished Lecture Series

Creighton University School of Medicine has announced speakers for its 2009-10 Distinguished Lecture Series. They are:

  • Oct. 14, 2009. Joel Linden, Ph.D., professor and vice chair for research, Department of Medicine, University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville

  • Nov. 11, 2009. Marin Kollef, M.D., professor of medicine and Virginia E. and Sam J. Golman Chair in Respiratory Intensive Care Medicine, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis

  • March 24, 2010. Daniel P. Sulmasy, M.D., director of Bioethics Institute of New York Medical College, Valhalla

  • May 5, 2010. Dorothy Roberts, J.D., Kirkland & Ellis Professor, Northwestern University School of Law and professor in the departments of African American studies and sociology

The lectures, sponsored by the Creighton University Office of Continuing Medical Education and the School of Medicine, are free to the public. The lectures will be held noon-1 p.m. on the dates specified in the Morrison Seminar Room at Creighton University Medical Center. The speakersí topics will be announced at a later date.
