Creighton Dean Elected to National Pharmacy Association Post
J. Chris Bradberry, dean of the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, has been named chair-elect for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Council of Deans.
Bradberry, who earned his doctor of pharmacy degree in 1972 from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, joined Creighton as dean in 2003. He will serve as chair-elect for the Council of Deans, 2009-2010, until assuming the position of chair for one year in July 2010
Founded in 1900, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) is a national organization representing the interests of pharmacy education and educators at 108 U.S. colleges and schools of pharmacy. Among the interests of the Council of Deans are the educational policies, the internal administration of colleges/schools, and relationships to other elements of the community of higher education and to society at large.
