Speaker Focuses on Archaeology of Sanctuaries
Creighton University’s Departments of Art History and Classical & Near Eastern Studies will be hosting a talk by Derek Counts, Ph.D., on the archaeology of sanctuaries on the island of Cyprus. The event is Friday, Feb. 6, at 3:30 pm in the Union Pacific Room in the Reinert Alumni Library on campus.
Counts is an associate professor of Classical Archaeology and Art at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the associate director of the Athienou Archaeological Project on Cyprus.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
