Law Professor Elected to Nebraska Appleseed Board

Creighton University Law Professor Raneta Mack was recently elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors of Nebraska Appleseed.

Nebraska Appleseed is a non-profit, non-partisan law project that focuses on advancing policies and practices that promote self-sufficiency for Nebraska’s working poor families, promotes the integration and participation of immigrant populations in communities across Nebraska, provides safe and adequate child welfare services to children who need protection, increases low-income people’s access to the legal system and supports democracy by removing barriers to participation in the electoral and public policy decision-making processes.

Nebraska Appleseed is a part of the Appleseed network of independent state-based public interest law centers working to identify and address social injustices. For more information visit appleseednetwork.org.
