Creighton Medical Associates Names CEO
Todd Carlon of Scottsdale, Ariz., has been named chief executive officer for Creighton Medical Associates.
For 10 years (1997-2007), he was chief administrative officer for University of Minnesota Physicians, Minneapolis, an academic medical group practice with 700 physicians and 1,300 staff members at 36 clinics. Most recently, Carlon served as regional vice president for Pediatrix Medical Center Group’s Mountain Region, 2007-2009. In this capacity, he led and managed 32 for-profit medical group practices in 11 states.
Carlon has also held administrative positions with several other health organizations, including Fortis Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Physicians Service in Madison, and Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundation in Rochester, Minn.
Carlon holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Minnesota State University (1982), and a master’s of business administration degree from North Dakota State University (1987).
