Creighton Announces New Physician Appointments

Creighton Announces New Physician Appointments

Creighton University School of Medicine and Creighton Medical Associates have announced six physician appointments. They are:

Sylvanus Ayeni, M.D., Department of Surgery. His areas of expertise include brain tumors and skull-base surgery. His clinical and research interests include cerebrovascular surgery and microsurgical anatomy, respectively.

Ali Khoynezhad, M.D., Department of Surgery. He specializes in adult cardiac surgery and endovascular aortic repair. His research interests include open and endovascular treatment of various aortic pathologies, heart- failure surgery and minimally invasive valve operations.

Georgios I. Hatzoudis, M.D., Department of Surgery. His specialties include liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal transplant surgeries and laparoscopic donor nephrectomies as well as other surgeries involving the liver, hepatobiliary, and pancreas.

Matthew J. Rivard, M.D., Department of Surgery. His interests include broad-based general surgery, including laparoscopic, gallbladder, colon and other gastrointestinal procedures as well as hernia, breast and thyroid procedures.

Susan Schima, M.D., The Creighton Cardiac Center. She is board certified in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Michael White, M.D., The Creighton Cardiac Center. He is board certified in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
