Creighton Symposium Looks at Catholic Intellectual Tradition
The Center for Catholic Thought at Creighton University will hold a March 26-27 symposium on “The Catholic Intellectual Tradition as a Source of Scholarly Wisdom.”
The event will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, and 9 a.m.-noon on Friday March, 27, at Skutt Student Center, Room 104.
Eight presenters from Creighton, University of South Alabama, Loyola College in Maryland, Saint Louis University, and Loras College, representing a wide variety of disciplines - theology, biology, physics, English, political science and law - will speak.
Topics to be covered include a discussion on what Catholic intellectual tradition is and whether it is still active in the modern Catholic university. For more information, e-mail jokeefe@creighton.edu.
