Creighton Lecture Features National Speaker on Palestine, Human Rights

Jonathan Kuttab, well-known expert in international law and human rights issues, will speak at Creighton University, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

The lecture, “Peace and Justice for Palestine: Can Either Be Achieved through Non-Violent Resistance?” will be held in the Mike and Josie Harper Center for Student Life and Learning, room 3028, and is free to the public.

Kuttab, founder or co-founder of several organizations including The Palestinian Center for the Study of Non Violence, Mandela Institute for Political Prisoners and other groups, serves as a expert commentator on these issues in national media.

Creighton University sponsors include the Justice and Peace Studies Program, the Amelia B. and Emil G. Graff Faculty Chair in Catholic Theological Studies, the Muslim Student Association and Nebraskans for Peace.
