Mass of the Holy Spirit Begins Fall Term
Creighton University will celebrate its annual Mass of the Holy Spirit at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 at St. John’s Church on campus. Presiding will be the University’s president, the Rev. John P. Schlegel, S. J.
The Mass is a tradition among Jesuit academic institutions in which the campus community gathers to thank God for one another and to ask for the guidance and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit in the coming year. Classes at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. are cancelled to allow students, faculty and staff to attend.
Members of the community are invited to attend.
