Creighton University to Host Jazz Concert Featuring Music of Davis and Coltrane

Creighton University will present its spring jazz ensemble concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 15 on the Main Stage of the Lied Education Center for the Arts, located at 24th and Cass streets.

The concert, directed by Linda Williams, Ph.D., and assistant director Steve Gomez, will include a number of compositions such as "Giant Steps" by John Coltrane, "Four" by Miles Davis, "A Night in Tunisia" by Dizzy Gillespie and "April in Paris" by Gerald Marks.
