Honors Program to Present Sixth Annual Honors Day
The Creighton Honors Program will host its 6th Annual Honors Day from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, at the Mike and Josie Harper Center in rooms 3023-3029.
Almost 50 undergraduate Honors Program seniors will present their independent research projects to the Creighton community. Studentsí research topics range from the sciences to humanities. The Honors Program seeks individuals of all faiths and backgrounds who are intelligent, well prepared academically, highly motivated and academically adventurous.
The curriculum immerses these students in an academically rigorous yet flexible program of study guided by a faculty mentor. The program provides students with special opportunities and challenges to enhance their undergraduate experience and contribute to the intellectual and cultural life of the university.
An award ceremony and reception will take place beginning at 3:20 p.m. in room 3023 following the studentsí research presentations.
