Women and Heart Disease Focus of Wear Red Day Talk

Tami Ward, APRN, will speak on women and heart disease on Friday, Feb. 5, as part of National Wear Red Day. The noon talk will be held in the Creighton University Cardiac Center auditorium, 3006 Webster St. It is free to the public.

The Creighton brown-bag lunch event is being held on National Wear Red Day, which occurs during American Heart Month. On Wear Red Day, people are encouraged to dress in red to bring attention to the fact that heart disease and stroke are the number one and three killers of all American women (as well as men).
