Pulmonary Specialist Joins Creighton Medical Associates
Ariel Modrykamien, M.D., has joined Creighton Medical Associates as a specialist in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He will see patients at Creighton University, Omaha Veterans Administration and Bellevue medical centers. His clinical interests include mechanical ventilation, sepsis, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension and advanced bronchoscopic procedures.
An assistant professor in the Creighton University School of Medicine, Modrykamien is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.
Modrykamien completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic Respiratory Institute, where he was chief fellow in 2010. He completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City in 2007.
Modrykamien finished a research fellowship in the hypertension and atherosclerosis department at Boston University Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He earned his medical doctor degree from Favaloro University School of Medicine in Buenos Aires in 1998.
