Gail Jensen Honored as Recipient of the 42nd Mary McMillan Lecture Award

Creighton University Graduate School Dean Gail M. Jensen, Ph.D., will receive the 42nd Mary McMillan Lecture Award during the American Physical Therapy Associationís annual Conference and Exposition on June 9, 2011.

The award is the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and recognizes a member who has made a distinguished contribution to the profession of physical therapy. The recipient presents a lecture on a subject of his or her choice at the annual conference.

Jensen, a physical therapy professor and associate vice president for academic affairs at Creighton, has been honored three times in the past by APTA. She has received the Golden Pen Award, the Lucy Blair Service award and was named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow.
